The 2025 Finnish county elections will be held on 13 April 2025, the same day as municipal elections. Representatives for county councils will be elected.[1] They determine the wellbeing services in each county.[2]
Background
These will be the second elections of their kind following the inaugural 2022 Finnish county elections.[3]
A poll by the Association of Finnish Local and Regional Authorities suggests that 80 percent of people in Finland plan to vote in these 2025 elections.[4]
