The 2024–25 Hockey India League, known as the Hero Hockey India League for sponsorship reasons[1] will be the sixth season of the Hockey India League. It will be held from 28 December 2024 to 1 February 2025.[2]
On 10 April 2023, Hockey India announced Big Bang Media Ventures as its exclusive commercial and marketing partner agency.[3] The league has 8 teams for the men's and 4 for the women's tournaments.[4]
Format
Eight teams for the men's tournament and four teams for the women's tournament are placed in a group to play round-robin matches. The top four teams qualify for the knockout stage.[5] Playing eleven, teams had to have a minimum of two and a maximum of five foreign players.[6]
