The 2024–25 season is the 97th year in the history of FC Dynamo Makhachkala, and the club's 1st season in the Russian Premier League. In addition to the domestic league, Dynamo Makhachkala will take part in the Russian Cup.
On 16 July, Dynamo Makhachkala announced the loan signing of Nikita Kotin from Rostov.[4]
On 24 July, Dynamo Makhachkala announced the signing of Jan Đapo from Domžale.[5]
On 30 July, Dynamo Makhachkala announced the signing of Jemal Tabidze on a free-transfer after he'd previously played for Panetolikos.[6] The following day, 31 July, Dynamo Makhachkala announced the signing of Houssem Eddine Mrezigue from CR Belouizdad to a long-term contract.[7]
