2023–24 Central Michigan Chippewas men's basketball team American college basketball season
The 2023–24 Central Michigan Chippewas men's basketball team represented Central Michigan University in the 2023–24 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Chippewas, led by third-year head coach Tony Barbee, played their home games at McGuirk Arena in Mount Pleasant, Michigan as members of the Mid-American Conference (MAC).[1][2][3] They finished the regular season 18–13, 12–6 in MAC play, to finish in fourth place.[4] They lost Bowling Green in the first round of the MAC tournament.[5][6][7]
Previous season
The Chippewas finished the 2022–23 season 10–21, 5–13 MAC play, to finish in a tie for ninth place.[8] They failed to qualify for the MAC tournament.
