Winner of each seat at the 2023 Erewash Borough Council election
The 2023 Erewash Council election took place on 4 May 2023 to elect all 47 members of Erewash Borough Council in Derbyshire , England.[ 1] This was on the same day as other local elections across England .
Following the results, the Conservatives lost control of the council to Labour for the first time in 20 years.[ 2] The Labour group leader, James Dawson, was appointed leader of the council at the subsequent annual council meeting on 25 May 2023.[ 3]
