Football league season
The 2023–24 Danish 1st Division season was the 28th season of the Danish 1st Division league championship, governed by the Danish Football Association .
Participants
Horsens and AaB finished the 2022–23 season of the Superliga in 11th and 12th place, respectively, and were relegated to the 1st Division.[ 1] [ 2] They replaced Vejle BK and Hvidovre IF , who were promoted to the 2023–24 Danish Superliga .[ 3] [ 4]
Kolding IF and B.93 won promotion from the 2022–23 Danish 2nd Division .[ 5] [ 6] They replaced Fremad Amager and Nykøbing FC .[ 7] [ 8]
