The 2012–13 Ekstraklasa season was Lechia's 69th since their creation, and was their 5th continuous season in the top league of Polish football.

^Polonia Warszawa did not receive the license for the 2013–14 season due to financial problems. As a result, the 15th-placed Ruch Chorzów stayed in Ekstraklasa for the next season.[18]
