The 1988–89 Floodlit Cup was the 2nd edition of the Floodlit Cup, a cup competition in Northern Irish football.^[1]

Glenavon won the tournament for the 1st time, defeating Linfield 6–1 in the final replay^[2] after the original final ended in a 1–1 draw.^[3]^[4]
