The 1961 Alfred Saxons football team was an American football team that represented Alfred University as an independent during the 1961 college football season. In their 21st season under head coach Alex Yunevich, the Saxons compiled a 6–2 record and outscored opponents by a total of 110 to 87.[1] The team played home games at Merrill Field in Alfred, New York.
