1942 Ole Miss Rebels football team
American college football season
The 1942 Ole Miss Rebels football team was an American football team that represented the University of Mississippi (Ole Miss) as a member of the Southeastern Conference (SEC) during the 1942 college football season. In their fifrth year under head coach Harry Mehre, the Rebels complied an overall record of 2–7, with a conference record of 0–5, and finished 12th in the SEC.[1]
Ole Miss was ranked at No. 84 (out of 590 college and military teams) in the final rankings under the Litkenhous Difference by Score System for 1942.[2]
