The 1940 Louisiana Normal Tigers football team represented Louisiana Negro Normal and Industrial Institute—now known as Grambling State University—as a member of the Bi-State Conference during the 1940 college football season. In their third and final season under head coach Emory Hines, the Tigers compiled an overall record of 2–4–2 with a mark of 1–2 in conference play, placing third in the Bi-State.[1]
