American college basketball season
The 1908–09 Georgia Bulldogs basketball team represented the University of Georgia during the 1908–09 college men's basketball season. The team finished the season with an overall record of 6–2.[ 1]
The team was captained by Frank Von Sprecken and included Claud Derrick . Players Peacock, Lewis, and Buttolph were from last year's Southern champion Columbus YMCA team.[ 2] A game with Vanderbilt to decide the Southern championship never materialized.
