Η Προεδρία του Μπαράκ Ομπάμα (αγγλικά: The Presidency of Barack Obama), διήρκησε από τις 20 Ιανουαρίου 2009 έως τις 20 Ιανουαρίου 2017. Ο Μπαράκ Ομπάμα, υπηρέτησε ως 44ος Πρόεδρος των Ηνωμένων Πολιτειών. Υπηρέτησε για δύο συνεχόμενες θητείες.^[1]

Ο Μπαράκ Ομπάμα ήταν ο πρώτος αφροαμερικανός πρόεδρος στην ιστορία των Ηνωμένων Πολιτειών. Ο Ομπάμα, ήταν ο προεδρικός υποψήφιος του Δημοκρατικού Κόμματος, στις προεδρικές εκλογές των Ηνωμένων Πολιτειών το 2008 και μέχρι την εκλογή του, ήταν Γερουσιαστής των Ηνωμένων Πολιτειών για την πολιτεία του Ιλινόι.^[2] Συνυποψήφιός του και υποψήφιος για την αντιπροεδρία, ήταν ο επί 36 χρόνια Γερουσιαστής των Ηνωμένων Πολιτειών για την πολιτεία του Ντέλαγουερ, Τζο Μπάιντεν.^[3]

Στις γενικές εκλογές του Νοεμβρίου 2008, ο Δημοκρατικός Μπαράκ Ομπάμα, κατάφερε να κερδίσει τον Ρεπουμπλικανό ανθυποψήφιό του, Γερουσιαστή Τζον Μακέιν από την Αριζόνα, λαμβάνοντας 365 από τις 538 εκλεκτορικές ψήφους, και το 52,9% της λαϊκής ψήφου, έναντι 45,7% της λαϊκής ψήφους και 173 εκλεκτορικών ψήφων του Μακέιν.^[4] Στις 15 Δεκεμβρίου 2008, επιβεβαιώθηκε από το σώμα των 538 εκλεκτόρων η νίκη του Μπαράκ Ομπάμα στην προεδρική εκλογή του 2008, και οριστικοποιήθηκε μετά την κοινή συνεδρίαση του 111ου Κογκρέσου των Ηνωμένων Πολιτειών, στις 8 Ιανουαρίου 2009.^[5]

Ο Ομπάμα, επανεξελέγη για δεύτερη συνεχόμενη θητεία πρόεδρος, στις προεδρικές εκλογές των Ηνωμένων Πολιτειών του 2012, αφού κατάφερε να κερδίσει τον Ρεπουμπλικανό προεδρικό υποψήφιο και πρώην κυβερνήτη της Μασαχουσέτης Μιτ Ρόμνεϊ, λαμβάνοντας 332 από τις 538 εκλεκτορικές ψήφους, και το 51,1% της λαϊκής ψήφου, έναντι 47,2% της λαϊκής ψήφου, και 206 εκλεκτορικών ψήφων του Ρόμνεϊ.^[6]

Η προεδρία του Μπαράκ Ομπάμα, ξεκίνησε την Τρίτη, 20 Ιανουαρίου 2009 στις 12:00 το μεσημέρι ύστερα από την ορκωμοσία του, ως 44ος Πρόεδρος των Ηνωμένων Πολιτειών, και έληξε την Παρασκευή, 20 Ιανουαρίου 2017 στις 12:00 το μεσημέρι, με την ορκωμοσία του Ρεπουμπλικανού Ντόναλντ Τραμπ, ως 45ου Προέδρου των Ηνωμένων Πολιτειών.^[7]
