Η Πλατεία Ζολοτοβορότσκι είναι πλατεία που βρίσκεται στη συνοικία Σεφτσένκο του Κιέβου. Έχει συνολική επιφάνεια 0,57 στρέμματα.

Ιστορία

Δημιουργήθηκε κατά το δεύτερο μισό του 19ου αιώνα κοντά στα ερείπια της Χρυσής Πύλης. Η αρχή έγινε το 1899 με την εγκατάσταση σιντριβανιού εντός του γειτονικού πάρκου, στην περιοχή μεταξύ της πύλης και των χαλασμάτων των τειχών το 1899. Η απόφαση υπ' αριθμόν 363 του Δημοτικού Συμβουλίου του Κιέβου, στις 20 Μαρτίου 1972, λόγω της έκτασης της φυσικής περιοχής και του αναλλοίωτου χαρακτήρα της, καθώς και την ποικιλία των ειδών σε δέντρα και άνθη, ανακήρυξε την πλατεία και το γειτονικό σε αυτήν πάρκο ως μνημεία φυσικής ομορφιάς και τοπικής σημασίας.

Το 1982, ξεκίνησαν εργασίες αναστήλωσης της πύλης, με το Hall Museum να χτίζεται πάνω της το 1997. Ταυτόχρονα, την ίδια περίοδο, ένα άγαλμα προς τιμήν του Γιάροσλαβ του Σοφού έκανε την εμφάνισή του στον χώρο (κοντά στο αναψυκτήριο επί της οδού Λισένκο και το σχεδιαζόμενο για ανακατασκευή πάρκο).

Το 1998, προστέθηκαν στην πλατεία το γλυπτό γάτας, το οποίο έχει φτιαχτεί από μπρούντζο. Tο συγκεκριμένο γλυπτό χαίρει προσοχής από τους επισκέπτες. Ωστόσο, στο πάρκο αυτό υπάρχουν και άλλα δύο γλυπτά από γάτες:

  • ένα φτιαγμένο από ξύλο επί της οδού Λισένκο
  • ένα φτιαγμένο από πλαστικά πιρούνια και κρεμασμένο σε ένα δέντρο κοντά στην έξοδο του πάρκου επί της οδού Βλαντίμιρ. Το έργο αυτό αποτελεί δημιούργημα του Ουκρανού καλλιτέχνη Κονσταντίν Σκρετουτσκόχο.
