Η μνήμη [1] είναι ελληνική δραματική ταινία του σκηνοθέτη Βασίλη Μαζωμένου, ο οποίος έγραψε και το σενάριο, αλλά έκανε και την παραγωγή μαζί με τον Γιώργο Κολόζη. Η ταινία βραβεύτηκε το 2002 στα Κρατικά Βραβεία Ποιότητας του Υπουργείου Πολιτισμού με το δεύτερο βραβείο για ταινία τεκμηρίωσης ή ταινία κινουμένων σχεδίων μεγάλου μήκους.[2]

Πλοκή

Ένας ποιητής φωτογραφίζεται με ατελείωτες ερωμένες του, στην ίδια γωνιά του γραφείου του, για δεκαπέντε χρόνια. Μια ηθοποιός μιλά για τους έρωτες της πάνω στη θεατρική σκηνή. Η ταινία ανήκει στο καλλιτεχνικό ρεύμα του ποιητικού κινηματογράφου, παντρεύοντας ετερόκλητες τεχνικές (μυθοπλαστικές με καθαρά ντοκιμαντερίστικες) καθώς και ψηφιακό κινούμενο σχέδιο. Πρόκειται για ένα έργο πάνω στην αναζήτηση του έρωτα και στη λαγνεία. Ένα μεγάλο μέρος της βασίζεται στο τελευταίο επεισόδιο του Οδυσσέα του Τζέιμς Τζόυς.
