Οι γαλλικές προεδρικές εκλογές του 2017 έλαβαν χώρα στις 23 Απριλίου 2017 και 7 Μαΐου 2017 (22 Απριλίου και 6 Μαΐου αντίστοιχα σε αρκετά εκ των εκτός Μητροπολιτικής Γαλλίας εδάφη)[1]. Σκοπός ήταν η εκλογή του Προέδρου της Γαλλικής Δημοκρατίας για θητεία πέντε ετών. Πρόκειται για τις ενδέκατες προεδρικές εκλογές της Πέμπτης Δημοκρατίας και τις δέκατες με άμεση καθολική ψηφοφορία. Με το πέρας του πρώτου γύρου της εκλογικής διαδικασίας, οι Εμμανουέλ Μακρόν και Μαρίν Λε Πεν ήσαν επικεφαλής και εξασφάλισαν, ως αποτέλεσμα, την συμμετοχή τους στον δεύτερο γύρο των εκλογών.

Οι συγκεκριμένες εκλογές ανέδειξαν τον διάδοχο του απερχόμενου Προέδρου της Δημοκρατίας, Φρανσουά Ολλάντ, ο οποίος επέλεξε να μην θέσει υποψηφιότητα, γεγονός μοναδικό για Πρόεδρο της Πέμπτης Δημοκρατίας στα τέλη της πρώτης του θητείας. Οι εκλογές ακολουθούνται από τις βουλευτικές εκλογές οι οποίες έλαβαν χώρα στις 11 Ιουνίου και 18 Ιουνίου 2017.

Αποτέλεσμα

Τα ποσοστά συμμετοχής στις προεδρικές εκλογές του 2012 ήταν της τάξεως του 79,48% (στην Μητροπολιτική Γαλλία).[2]

Οι εκτιμήσεις, που δημοσιοποιήθηκαν στις 20:00 (ώρα Γαλλίας) από τα γαλλικά ΜΜΕ, με βάση εκτιμήσεις προερχόμενες από εταιρείες δημοσκοπήσεων[7][8], οι οποίες επιβεβαιώθηκαν, στην συνέχεια, από τα αριθμητικά στοιχεία τα οποία δημοσιοποιήθηκαν από το Υπουργείο Εσωτερικών στην διάρκεια της βραδιάς, έδωσαν τους παρακάτω προκριθέντες για τον δεύτερο γύρο:

Παρά την νομική απαγόρευση επί γαλλικού εδάφους, η RTBF εξέδωσε εκτιμήσεις αποτελεσμάτων προς τις 18:00, χωρίς, ωστόσο, να αναφέρει τις πηγές της. Εκτίμησε πως «ο ρόλος της δεν είναι να αποκρύψει τα συγκεκριμένα αριθμητικά στοιχεία».[9] Οι γαλλικές εταιρείες δημοσκοπήσεων ανέφεραν από την πλευρά τους πως δεν εξέδωσαν κανένα αριθμητικό στοιχείο.[10]

Στη Γαλλία, τα ΜΜΕ γνωστοποίησαν, ακριβώς στις 20:00, εκτιμήσεις προερχόμενες από διάφορες εταιρείες δημοσκοπήσεων.[11]

Ένα προσωρινό επίσημο αποτέλεσμα ανακοινώθηκε στην συνέχεια από το Υπουργείο Εσωτερικών.

Μόνον το αποτέλεσμα το οποίο θα ανακοινωθεί από το Συνταγματικό Συμβούλιο, στην διάρκεια συνέντευξης τύπου η οποία θα δοθεί από τον πρόεδρό του, Λοράν Φαμπιούς, στις 26 Απριλίου (στις 17:00), θεωρείται ως επίσημο.[12]
