Το Anjuta είναι ολοκληρωμένο περιβάλλον ανάπτυξης γραμμένο για το εγχείρημα GNOME.[4] Υποστηρίζεται για τις γλώσσες προγραμματισμού C,[5] C++,[5] Java, JavaScript, Python και Vala.

Anjuta DevStudio

Ο σκοπός του Anjuta DevStudio είναι η παροχή ενός προσαρμόσιμου και επεκτάσιμου σκελετού IDE και ταυτόχρονα παρέχει υλοποιήσεις των συνηθισμένων εργαλείων ανάπτυξης. Το Libanjuta είναι ο σκελετός που πραγματοποιεί τον σκελετό του προσθέτου IDE του Anjuta and το Anjuta DevStudio πραγματοποιεί πολλά από τα συνηθισμένα πρόσθετα ανάπτυξης.

Ενσωματώνει προγραμματιστικά εργαλεία όπως τον σχεδιαστή διεπαφής Glade και τον περιηγητή βοήθειας API Devhelp.

Το γερμανικό περιοδικό LinuxUser αναγνώρισε το Anjuta 1.0.0 (που εκδόθηκε το 2002) ως ένα καλό βήμα για την αύξηση του αριθμού των εγγενών εφαρμογών Gnome/Gtk. Το Anjuta έχει ένα πολύ ευκολονόητο GUI και νέα χρήσιμα γνωρίσματα.[7]
