Ο Φώτης Αρβανίτης (17 Οκτωβρίου 1938 - 12 Ιουλίου 2016), του Νικολάου και της Ευανθίας, ήταν Έλληνας επιχειρηματίας και πολιτικός.

Βιογραφικά στοιχεία

Καταγόταν από τη Μανάγουλη Φωκίδας και ολοκλήρωσε τις γυμνασιακές του σπουδές στο Ευπάλιο. [1] Εγκαταστάθηκε στην Αθήνα και έπειτα στην Αυστραλία, όπου έμεινε ως το 1970. Εκεί επιδόθηκε σε οικοδομικές και μεσιτικές δραστηριότητες. Στη συνέχεια επέστρεψε στην Αθήνα και εργάστηκε σε τεχνικό γραφείο, που δραστηριοποιείτο στην Αθήνα, ιδίως στα Βόρεια προάστεια, αλλά αργότερα και στη Ναύπακτο.[2]

Εξελέγη βουλευτής στην εκλογική περιφέρεια Φωκίδας με το ΠΑΣΟΚ, του οποίου ήταν ιδρυτικό στέλεχος, στις εκλογές του Ιουνίου 1989 και επανεξελέγη τον Νοέμβριο του 1989, το 1990 και το 1993.[3]

Απεβίωσε σε ηλικία 77 ετών τον Ιούλιο του 2016 και κηδεύτηκε από το ναό της Αγίας Φανερωμένης Μανάγουλης, στις 14 Ιουλίου. Ήταν παντρεμένος με την Αναστασία και απέκτησαν 2 κορίτσια και 2 αγόρια. Από τα παιδιά τους, η Ευανθία πέθανε πρόωρα από χρόνια ασθένεια.[2]
