Ο Τάσης (Αναστάσιος) Καζάζης (1903-1997) ήταν Έλληνας πολιτικός και δήμαρχος Πύργου.

Βιογραφικά στοιχεία

Γεννήθηκε στη Δίβρη (σήμερα Λαμπεία) της Ηλείας το 1903.[1] Πατέρας του ήταν ο Διονύσιος Καζάζης, κηροπλάστης και έμπορος στον Πύργο. Ήταν γόνος της μεγάλης οικογενείας του οπλαρχηγού της Δίβρης Αθανασίου Αναστασόπουλου.

Αφού τελείωσε το δημοτικό σχολείο στη Δίβρη, συνέχισε τις γυμνασιακές του σπουδές στον Πύργο. Μετά την ολοκλήρωση των εγκύκλιων σπουδών του, φοίτησε στη Γερμανία.

Το όνομά του συνδέθηκε με την περίοδο της Κατοχής στην ιστοριογραφία της πόλης που υπήρξε δήμαρχος, αλλά και της Ηλείας.[1] Με τις ενέργειές του έσωσε τον Πύργο από τους Γερμανούς.[1] Το 1977 τυπώθηκε στον Πύργο το βιβλίο του Οι Γερμανοί στην Ηλεία, το οποίο επανεκδόθηκε το 1994.[2]

Απεβίωσε σε ηλικία 94 ετών στις 16 Δεκεμβρίου 1997.[3]

Απέκτησε με την σύζυγό του Ανθούλα (απεβίωσε στις 31 Δεκεμβρίου 2008[4] στην Αθήνα) δύο παιδιά, τον Θάνο και τη Βάσω.
