Στον Αρθουριανό Κύκλο, ο Σερ Κέι (αγγλ. Sir Cai, Kay) είναι γιος του Σερ Έκτορ, ο οποίος ήταν θετός πατέρας του Βασιλιά Αρθούρου. Είναι ένας από τους πρώτους και πιο πιστούς στον Αρθούρο Ιππότες.

Ο Κέι και ο Αρθούρος ανατράφηκαν σαν αδέλφια από τον Σερ Έκτορ. Μετά τον θάνατο του Ούθερ Πεντράγκον, γίνεται στο Λονδίνο διαγωνισμός, όπου συγκεντρώνονται όλοι οι πιθανοί διάδοχοι του θρόνου, όπου πηγαίνουν κι εκείνοι. Όταν ο Κέι χάνει το σπαθί του σε έναν αγώνα, ο Αρθούρος υπόσχεται να του βρει άλλο κι έτσι, σύμφωνα με τον θρύλο, βρίσκει σε ένα βράχο το Εξκάλιμπερ και το παίρνει. Ο Κέι προσπαθεί να ιδιοποιηθεί την ιστορία, αλλά τελικά λέει την αλήθεια κι έτσι αποκαλύπτεται η πραγματική ταυτότητα του Αρθούρου.

Στο έργο του Τζέφρεϊ του Μονμάουθ Historia Regum Britanniae, εμφανίζεται μαζί με τον Μπέντβιρ να συνοδεύουν τον Αρθούρο και να αντιμετωπίζουν ένα γίγαντα στο Μον Σεν Μισέλ.

Πολύ λίγα στοιχεία υπάρχουν για τον θάνατό του. Κατά τον Geoffrey Monmouth και άλλους, σκοτώνεται στον πόλεμο ενάντια στον Ρωμαίο αυτοκράτορα Λούκιο, ενώ σύμφωνα με άλλες πηγές σκοτώνεται στη Γαλατία, σε μάχη ενάντια των Ρωμαίων.
