Η Σαλώμη Β΄ (γενν. π. 14 π.Χ.) από τη Ηρωδιανή Δυναστεία ήταν πριγκίπισσα της Ιουδαίας.

Ο Ηρώδης Α΄ ο Μέγας, πατέρας της Σαλώμης Β΄.

Βιογραφία

Ήταν κόρη του Ηρώδη Α΄ του Μεγάλου και της 8ης συζύγου του Ελπίδας.

Είχε 10 ετεροθαλή αδέλφια: Αλέξανδρος, Αριστόβουλος Δ΄, Σαλάμψιο, Ηρώδης Β΄ Φίλιππος, Ηρώδης Αρχέλαος, Ηρώδης Αντίπας, Ολυμπιάδα, Ηρώδης, Φασαήλ Γ΄ και Ρωξάνη, καθώς ο πατέρας της είχε 10 συζύγους.

Πήρε το όνομα της θείας της Σαλώμης Α΄, αδελφής του Ηρώδη. Έδωσε το όνομά της στην ανιψιά της Σαλώμη Γ΄, κόρη του Ηρώδη Β΄ Φιλίππου πρίγκιπα της Ιουδαίας, η οποία έγινε αιτία να αποκεφαλιστεί ο Άγ. Ιωάννης ο Πρόδρομος.
