O Καρλ Λόγκαν είναι Αμερικανός κιθαρίστας της heavy metal μουσικής, γνωστός ως μέλος του συγκροτήματος Manowar από το 1994 και έπειτα.

Βιογραφία

Ο Λόγκαν γεννήθηκε το 1965 και αποφοίτησε από το λύκειο Λέικλαντ στο Κλίφορντ της Πενσυλβάνια το 1982.[1] Στις αρχές της δεκαετίας του '90 έπαιξε για τους Arc Angel και στην συνέχεια Fallen Angel μέχρι το 1992. Το 1994, κλήθηκε να αντικαταστήσει τον Ντέιβιντ Σανκλ στους Manowar, παίζοντας για πρώτη φορά στον δίσκο "Louder Than Hell" του 1996.[2]

Ακολούθησαν δύο ζωντανά ηχογραφημένα άλμπουμ, τα "Hell on Wheels" του 1997 και "Hell on Stage" του 1999, πριν γνωρίσει επιτυχία στην Ευρώπη με το "Warriors of the World" του 2002.[3] Το συγκρότημα παρέμεινε σε υψηλά επίπεδα δημοτικότητας με το "Gods of War" του 2007, πριν επανηχογραφήσουν το πρώτο τους άλμπουμ στο "Battle Hymns MMXI". Επανήλθαν με νέες συνθέσεις το 2012 στον δίσκο "The Lord of Steel" και δύο χρόνια αργότερα ηχογράφησαν εκ νέου το άλμπουμ "Kings of Metal".[4]

Ο Λόγκαν εντάχθηκε στο συγκρότημα αφού γνώρισε τον Τζόι Ντι Μάιο όταν παρ' ολίγο να τον χτυπήσει οδηγώντας την μοτοσυκλέτα του.[5] Μετά την αλλαγή της χιλιετίας, κυκλοφόρησαν κάποια μοντέλα κιθάρας με την επωνυμία του, τα οποία πωλούνταν μέσω της επίσημης ιστοσελίδας των Manowar.[6]
