Γενικές εκλογές διεξήχθησαν στον Άγιο Μαρτίνο στις 26 Σεπτεμβρίου 2016.[1][2]

Εκλογικό σύστημα

Οι 15 έδρες της βουλής, που λέγεται Estates εξελέγησαν με απλή αναλογική.[3] Προκειμένου να συμμετάσχουν στις εκλογές τα νέα κόμματα και τα κόμματα που δεν έλαβαν καμία έδρα στις προηγούμενες εκλογές ήταν απαραίτητο να συγκεντρώσουν τουλάχιστον 146 υπογραφές: το 1% των έγκυρων ψηφοδελτίων από τις βουλευτικές εκλογές του 2014.[4]
