Ydby ist ein Dorf im südlichen Thy im Nordwesten Dänemarks. Es liegt in der Verwaltungsregion Nordjylland und gehört der Thisted Kommune an.
Lage
Der Ort ist rund 35 Kilometer südlich von Thisted und 31 Kilometer nördlich von Struer gelegen. Rund sechs Kilometer nördlich entfernt liegt Hurup.
Verkehr
Bei Ydby verläuft die Primærrute 11. Auf Höhe des Ortes zweigt die Nebenstraße 527 in westlicher Richtung nach Vestervig ab. Zudem verfügt Ydby über einen Haltepunkt an der Thybanen zwischen Thisted und Struer.
Sehenswürdigkeiten
Der Ort liegt am Rande der Ydby Hede mit einer Ansammlung von Grabhügeln aus der Bronzezeit. Innerhalb des Dorfes befindet sich eine im romanischen Baustil errichtete Kirche.[2]
