Xatirchi (usbekisch: Xatirchi tumani) ist ein Bezirk (Tuman) in der Region Navoiy in Usbekistan. Das Verwaltungszentrum ist die Stadt Yangirabod.
Geographie
Der Bezirk liegt im zentralen Teil von Usbekistan und umfasst eine Fläche von etwa 1404 km².[1]
Bevölkerung
Die Einwohnerzahl wird für 2025 auf etwa 216.427 geschätzt.[2] Frühere Schätzungen zeigen ein kontinuierliches Wachstum:
- 2015 – 182.955
- 2020 – 199.005
- 2023 – 209.777[2]
Verwaltung
Der Bezirk besteht aus:
- 1 Stadt – Yangirabod
- 11 Siedlungen städtischen Typs (u. a. Langar, Jaloyir, Qoʻrgʻon, Paxtakor, Turkman)
- 9 Landgemeinden
Geschichte
Der Bezirk wurde 1926 gegründet und gehörte während der Zeit der Sowjetunion verschiedenen Verwaltungseinheiten an, bevor er Teil der Region Navoiy wurde.
Wirtschaft
Die lokale Wirtschaft basiert vor allem auf Landwirtschaft, insbesondere Baumwollanbau, Getreideproduktion und Viehzucht.
