Der Waymo Ojai ist ein batterieelektrischer Minivan, der von Zeekr produziert wird und seit 2026 von Waymo als autonomes Robotaxi eingesetzt wird.[1] Namensgebend ist die kalifornische Stadt Ojai.[2]
Die Fahrzeuge werden von Zeekr in Ningbo, China produziert und in Mesa (Arizona) mit dem Waymo Driver Technologiesystem ausgestattet, bestehend aus 6 Radar- und 4 LiDAR-Sensoren sowie 13 Kameras und einem Betriebssystem.[3]
Der fahrerlose Betrieb startete im Juni 2026 in Phoenix, Los Angeles und San Francisco.[4] Die Fahrzeuge bieten Platz für fünf Personen, wobei der Fahrersitz den somit maximal vier Passagieren nicht zur Verfügung steht.
