Udonja ist ein Verwaltungsbezirk (englisch Ward) des Distrikts Wanging'ombe in der tansanischen Region Njombe.
Geografie
Udonja ist ein ländlicher Bezirk im südlichen Hochland von Tansania. Er liegt etwa 40 Kilometer Luftlinie nördlich der Regionshauptstadt Njombe.[2] Bei der Volkszählung 2022 lebten 4149 Menschen in 1087 Haushalten[3] auf einer Fläche von 54 Quadratkilometern.[4]
Der Bezirk grenzt im Osten an den Distrikt Makambako (TC) und sonst an drei Bezirke des Distrikts Wanging'ombe:[5]

Gliederung
Der Bezirk besteht aus fünf Gemeinden (Swahili Mtaa) und 25 Orten (Swahili Kitongoji):[6]

Infrastruktur
- Bildung: Es gibt keine weiterführende Schule im Bezirk.[7]
- Gesundheitseinrichtungen: In der Gemeinden Banawanu liegt eine staatliche Ambulanz.[8]
- Elektrizität, Wasser: Von den 1283 Gebäuden im Bezirk haben 146 einen Stromanschluss von Tanesco, 574 beziehen Strom aus anderen Quellen wie Solarzellen und Generatoren. In 265 Gebäuden gibt es einen Wasseranschluss (Stand 2022).[9]
- Gebäudenutzung: Von den 99 Gebäuden, die nicht für Wohnzwecke genutzt werden, sind 44 Geschäftslokale, 17 öffentliche Gebäude wie Schulen und Gesundheitseinrichtungen und 11 Bürogebäude (Stand 2022).[10]
