Terry Brennan

Terry Brennan (* 24. Mai 1942 im Carlingford, County Louth, Irland; † 19. Juni 2020) war ein Politiker der Fine Gael. Er war von 2011 bis 2016 Mitglied im Seanad Éireann, dem Oberhaus des irischen Parlaments (Oireachtas).

Leben

Brennan arbeitete als Ingenieur beim Electricity Supply Board, der Holding des irischen Stromversorgers. Von 1985 bis 2011 war er Mitglied im Louth County Council. Bei den Wahlen zum Dáil Éireann 1997 und 2002 kandidierte er ohne Erfolg im Wahlkreis Louth. 2011 wurde er über die Arbeitsliste in den Seanad Éireann gewählt.[1] 2016 zog er sich aus der Politik zurück.

Brennan hatte mit seiner Frau Aileen drei Kinder.
