Die Stygis Catena ist eine geologische Formation auf dem Mars, wie sie in der englischen Fachterminologie als pit chains (deutsch: Krater-, Trichter oder Grubenketten) bezeichnet werden. Die Region der Stygis Catena, südöstlich von Elysium Mons gelegen, zeigt eine Vielzahl solcher tektonischer Gräben, die mit den Gräben Elysium Fossae verbunden ist und welche ungefähr von Nordost nach Südwest verlaufen. Die Reihe dicht beieinander liegender Senken wird nach dem lateinischen Wort für Kette als Catena bezeichnet.
