Spencer Scott
Spencer Scott ist ein US-amerikanischer Theater- und Filmschauspieler sowie Hörfunkmoderator.
Leben
Scott erlangte 1987 seinen Bachelor of Arts in Politikwissenschaft mit Nebenfach Theaterwissenschaft an der University of Southern California.[1] 1997 gründete er die Unity Players Ensemble Theatre Company in Los Angeles und fungierte als Theaterschauspieler sowie künstlerischer Leiter.[1] Er sammelte berufliche Erfahrungen in Print- und Hörfunkjournalismus und war als wiederkehrender Gastmoderator von Beneath The Surface, einer Radio-Talkshow am Abend, und The Morning Show, einer Radio-Talkshow am Morgen, beides auf KPFK, zu hören.[2] Seine klassische Ausbildung als Schauspieler erhielt er an der Phillips Academy, am Mark Twain Institute, an der Performing Arts Academy sowie am Occidental College in Glendale.[2]
Sein Fernsehschauspieldebüt gab er in einer Episode der Fernsehserie Martin. 2005 gab er in That Game of Chess sein Spielfilmdebüt. Es folgten Episodenrollen unter anderem in den Fernsehserien Schatten der Leidenschaft, Gene Simmons: Family Jewels und Boston Legal. 2009 stellte er im Film Countdown Jerusalem die größere Rolle des John Cosgrove dar. 2010 war er im Katastrophenfilm Meteor Apocalypse in der Rolle des Agent Munez zu sehen. 2017 stellte er in zwei Episoden der Fernsehserie Beauty and the Baller die Rolle des Captain O’Neil dar.
