Sense of Water ist ein iranisch-deutscher Film aus dem Jahr 2026 von Mohammad Rasulof mit Benush Najibi und Ali Nourani in den Hauptrollen. Der Film hatte am 30. Januar 2026 auf dem International Film Festival Rotterdam Premiere.[1]
Handlung
In der Kälte des Exils konfrontiert sich ein iranischer Schriftsteller mit einer Fremdsprache – einer Sprache, in der er die Liebe, Wut, Freude und Trauer wiederentdecken muss, um wieder zu schreiben. Seine Suche nach der Wiederherstellung der Schreibkraft wird zu einer inneren Reise zwischen Erinnerung und Vergessen, zwischen einer verlorenen Sprache und einer neuen – in der menschliche, emotionale und sinnliche Bedeutung neu erschaffen werden muss.
