Nyasaka ist ein Verwaltungsbezirk (englisch Ward) des Distrikts Ilemela in der tansanischen Region Mwanza.

Geografie

Nyasaka ist ein städtischer Bezirk im Nordwesten von Tansania, er liegt im Nordosten der Regionshauptstadt Mwanza.[2] Bei der Volkszählung 2022 lebten 41.897 Menschen in 10.791 Haushalten[3] auf einer Fläche von sechs Quadratkilometern.[4]

Der Bezirk grenzt in Westen und Südwesten an den Distrikt Nyamagana und sonst an sieben Bezirke des Distrikts Ilemela:[5]

Der Bezirk besteht aus sechs Stadtteilen (Swahili Mtaa):[6]

Infrastruktur

  • Bildung: Es gibt sieben weiterführende Schulen im Bezirk.[7] Die Nyasaka Secondary School[8] ist eine staatliche Schule, die Jelly's Secondary School,[9] Nyamuge Secondary School,[10] Nyasaka Islamic Secondary School,[11] Tabasamu Secondary School,[12] TCRC Furaha Secondary School[13] und die Yusta Secondary School[14] sind Privatschulen. Alle bieten eine Ausbildung bis zur 4. Stufe an.
  • Gesundheitseinrichtungen: Im Bezirk liegt eine private Apotheke.[15]
  • Elektrizität, Wasser: Von den 7866 Gebäuden im Bezirk haben 5145 einen Stromanschluss von Tanesco, 714 beziehen Strom aus anderen Quellen wie Solarzellen und Generatoren. In 5230 Gebäuden gibt es einen Wasseranschluss (Stand 2022).[16]
  • Gebäudenutzung: Von den 205 Gebäuden, die nicht zu Wohnzwecken genutzt werden, sind 81 Geschäftslokale, 52 öffentliche Gebäude wie Schulen und Gesundheitseinrichtungen, gehören 34 religiösen Gemeinschaften, sind 18 Bürogebäude, 11 Hotels, 7 Gästehäuser, 6 Lagerhäuser, 5 Gewerbebetriebe und eines ist eine industrielle Anlage (Stand 2022).[17]
