Nkomolo ist ein Verwaltungsbezirk (englisch Ward) des Distrikts Nkasi in der tansanischen Region Rukwa.

Geografie

Nkomolo ist ein gemischter Bezirk im Westen des südlichen Hochlands von Tansania. Er liegt nordwestlich der Distrikthauptstadt Namanyere. Bei der Volkszählung 2022 lebten 15.930 Menschen in 2954 Haushalten[2] auf einer Fläche von 459 Quadratkilometern.[3]

Der Bezirk grenzt an acht Bezirke des Distrikts Nkasi:[4]

Infrastruktur

  • Bildung: Im Bezirk liegen zwei weiterführende Schulen.[6] Sowohl die Nkomolo Secondary School[7] als auch die Mkole Secondary School[8] sind koedukative öffentliche Schulen mit einer Ausbildung bis zur 4. Stufe.
  • Gesundheit: Für die medizinische Versorgung der Bevölkerung gibt es ein Gesundheitszentrum[9] und eine Apotheke.[10]
