NGC 5620 ist eine 14,2 mag helle, linsenförmige Galaxie vom Hubble-Typ E-S0 im Sternbild Kleiner Bär und etwa 417 Millionen Lichtjahre von der Milchstraße entfernt.

Sie wurde am 3. April 1785 von Wilhelm Herschel mit einem 18,7-Zoll-Spiegelteleskop entdeckt,[3] der sie dabei mit „eF, not verified“[4] beschrieb. Dies ist eine der wenigen umstrittenen Entdeckungen von Wilhelm Herschel. Auf Grund einer ungenauen Positionsangabe ist es wahrscheinlicher, dass er NGC 5607 beobachtet hat.
