Motion Control Foundation war eine deutsche Rock-Band. Sie wurde 1996 von Markus Hammer, Benjamin Wagner, Jochen Issing und Frank Schwab in Würzburg gegründet. Ihre erste Single Romeo veröffentlichten sie noch im selben Jahr.

Das Musikmagazin Visions hatte anfangs ein Demo der Band einer ihrer Ausgaben beigelegt. Danach trat sie beim Bizarre-Festival auf. Daneben trat die Band im Vorprogramm von Bananafishbones, In Extremo und The Sweet auf.[1]

Für das Album Candy Floss & Spice (2003) vergab Laut.de drei von fünf Sternen und bemerkte, dass das Album einen „schalen Geschmack“ hinterlasse und trotz einiger rockiger Songs „eine eigene Identität“ der Gruppe schwer zu erkennen sei.[2]

Nach den Veröffentlichungen der Alben Candy Floss & Spice (2002) und And Now the Good News (2005)[3] bei Südpol Records verlieh die Stadt Würzburg der Band den Jugendkulturförderpreis.[4]
