Loree Smith (* 6. November 1982 in Melbourne, Florida) ist eine ehemalige US-amerikanische Leichtathletin, die sich auf den Hammerwurf spezialisiert hat.
Sportliche Laufbahn
Loree Smith absolvierte ein Studium an der Colorado State University. Erste internationale Erfahrungen sammelte sie im Jahr 2004, als sie bei den U23-NACAC-Meisterschaften im kanadischen Sherbrooke mit einer Weite von 63,83 m die Goldmedaille gewann. Im Jahr darauf wurde sie NCAA-Collegemeisterin und 2008 nahm sie an den Olympischen Sommerspielen in Peking teil, bei denen sie mit 63,60 m in der Qualifikationsrunde ausschied. 2012 beendete sie dann ihre aktive sportliche Karriere im Alter von 30 Jahren.
