Linnet F. Deily

Linnet F. Deily ist eine US-amerikanische Diplomatin und Wirtschaftsfunktionärin. Sie diente als Ständige Vertreterin bei der Welthandelsorganisation (WTO) in Genf.

Leben

Linnet F. Deily wurde im Jahr 1988 Chief Operating Officer und Präsidentin der First Interstate Bank of Texas, was sie für zwei Jahre blieb, bis sie Präsidentin und Chief Executive Officer der Bank wurde, was sie für sechs Jahre, bis zum Jahr 1996, blieb.[1]

Im Jahr 1996 wurde Deily Präsidentin von Schwab Institutional Services for Investment Managers für zwei Jahre. Nachdem sie dann von 1998 bis 2000 Präsidentin der Schwab Retail Group war, wirkte sie bis 2001 als Vizevorsitzende der Charles Schwab Corporation.[1]

Im Jahr 2001 wurde sie von Präsident George W. Bush als Nachfolgerin von Rita Hayes zur United States Deputy Trade Representative und Ständigen Vertreterin bei der Welthandelsorganisation (WTO) in Genf im Rang einer Botschafterin nominiert und später ernannt. In diesen Ämtern verblieb sie bis zum Jahr 2005.[1] Ihr Nachfolger wurde Peter Allgeier.[2]

Im Jahr 2006 wurde Deily Mitglied des Board of Directors von Chevron.[1]
