Der Lepas L8 ist ein Sport Utility Vehicle der zu Chery Automobile gehörenden Marke Lepas.
Geschichte
Das Fahrzeug wurde erstmals im April 2025 auf der Shanghai Auto Show gemeinsam mit den kleineren L6 und L4 gezeigt.[1] Im Juli 2026 wurden erste Fahrzeuge der Baureihe nach Europa verschifft, wo sie unter anderem in Italien oder Griechenland verkauft wird.[2] Weitere Märkte, auf denen das SUV verkauft wird, befinden sich in Südostasien, dem Nahen Osten oder in Südamerika.[3]
Technik
Der 4,69 Meter lange L8 nutzt wie unter anderem der Chery Tiggo 8 Plus[3] oder der Jaecoo J7 die T1X-Plattform von Chery Automobile.[1] Angetrieben wird er von einem Plug-in-Hybrid-Antrieb mit einer Systemleistung von 205 kW (279 PS). Ein 18,4-kWh-Akku ermöglicht eine elektrische Reichweite von 90 km.[4]
