Jiuning Liu
Jiuning Liu (chinesisch 刘久宁, Pinyin Liú Jiǔníng; * im 20. oder 21. Jahrhundert in China) ist eine chinesische Sängerin, die vor allem im Bereich des Jazz hervorgetreten ist.
Leben und Wirken
Liu, die als Kind K-Pop hörte, studierte von 2017 bis 2020 klassischen Gesang in Shanghai. Von 2022 bis 2026 absolvierte sie ihren Bachelor in Jazzgesang an der Hochschule für Musik und Theater Hamburg.[1]
Als Jazzsängerin ist Liu in verschiedenen Formationen in der Hamburger Jazzszene tätig, etwa im Trio Peace mit Lennart Meyer und Lucas Etcheverria (gleichnamiges Album 2025), in Sönke Düwers Ensemble de Verre und in ihrem eigenen Trio Serenety (mit dem Pianisten Jacob Eckert und dem Bassisten Mario Kolbe). Sie absolviert regelmäßig Konzerte in Norddeutschland, tourte aber auch in China.[2] NDR Kultur porträtierte sie 2026 ausführlich.[3]
