Imesela ist ein Verwaltungsbezirk (englisch Ward) des Distrikts Shinyanga in der tansanischen Region Shinyanga.

Geografie

Imesela ist ein ländlicher Bezirk im Nordwesten von Tansania, er liegt etwa 35 Kilometer Luftlinie westlich der Regionshauptstadt Shinyanga.[2] Bei der Volkszählung 2022 lebten 11.657 Menschen in 1854 Haushalten[3] auf einer Fläche von 101 Quadratkilometern.[4]

Der Bezirk grenzt an acht Bezirke des Distrikts Shinyanga.[5]

Infrastruktur

  • Bildung: Im Bezirk gibt es eine weiterführende Schule, die Imesela Secondary School.[7]
  • Gebäude: Von den 2170 Gebäuden im Bezirk haben 71 einen Stromanschluss von Tanesco, 1063 beziehen Strom aus anderen Quellen wie Solarzellen und Generatoren. 51 Gebäude besitzen einen Wasseranschluss (Stand 2022).[8]
