ITC Fenice
ITC Fenice ist eine klassizistische Antiqua in der Tradition von Didot und Bodoni. Aldo Novarese entwarf sie zwischen 1977 und 1980. Die International Typeface Corporation (ITC) brachte sie 1980 auf den Markt, die H. Berthold AG vertrieb sie in Lizenz.
Charakteristisch für die ITC Fencie sind die feinen Serifen und ihre schmale Buchstabenbreite. Die Serifen wurden zudem gekürzt, um einen engeren Buchstabenabstand zu gewährleisten. Im Vergleich zu Didot und Bodoni besitzen die Kleinbuchstaben eine große X-Höhe.
Die ITC Fencie liegt in den Schriftschnitten Light, Regular, Bold und Ultra mit den jeweiligen Kursivschnitten vor.[1][2]
