Das Hakenmatt (englisch hook mate) ist eine Endstellung im Schachspiel, in dem der gegnerische König mit Springer, Turm und Bauer Schachmatt gesetzt ist und der König durch (mindestens) einen eigenen Bauern behindert wird, siehe nebenstehende Diagrammstellung.
- Der Turm greift den König an und kontrolliert drei Fluchtfelder,
- der Springer steht neben dem König, deckt den Turm, bewacht ein Fluchtfeld neben dem König und
- der Bauer schützt den Springer und deckt zusätzlich ein Fluchtfeld auf der Diagonalen ab.
Das Hakenmatt ist eng verwandt mit dem arabischen Matt.

43. Sa5–c6+ Kb8–b7 44. De8xc8+!! und Schwarz gab auf. Verweigert er das Damenopfer und läuft nach b6, wird Schwarz sofort matt gesetzt mit 45. Dc8–b8#. Schlägt Schwarz die Dame, folgt 45. Te2–e8+ und je nachdem, ob der König nach b7 oder d7 zieht, beendet der weiße Turm nach 46. Te8–b8# oder 46. Te8–d8# mit einem Hakenmatt das Spiel; die rechte Diagrammstellung zeigt letztere Variante.
