Gesche Heumann
Gesche Heumann (geb. 1974 in Köln) ist eine deutsche Malerin und Schriftstellerin.
Werdegang
Gesche Heumann machte ihr Abitur in Stuttgart, studierte von 1994 bis 2000 an der Kunstakademie Düsseldorf und schloss ihre künstlerische Ausbildung mit einem Meisterschülerbrief von Markus Lüpertz ab.
2005 ging Gesche Heumann nach Wien und von dort 2019 weiter nach Berlin, wo sie jetzt lebt. Ihre Arbeiten wurden in zahlreichen Einzel- und Gruppenausstellungen in Deutschland und Österreich gezeigt. Von 2008 bis 2012 arbeitete sie als freie Redakteurin für das artmagazine.cc. 2018 erschien Gesche Heumanns erster Roman Lilo Palfys Beitrag zur Kunst, in dem Hansruedi Kugler im St. Galler Tagblatt eine „Gesellschaftssatire, eine cool romantische Komödie und einen cleveren Kunstroman“[1] erkennt.
2026 wurde Gesche Heumann von Philipp Tingler zum Ingeborg-Bachmann-Preis eingeladen.[2]
