- Carl Pontus Gahn (1759–1825), schwedischer Militär
- Johan Gottlieb Gahn (1745–1818), schwedischer Chemiker und Mineraloge, der 1774 Mangan entdeckte und nach dem das Mineral Gahnit benannt ist.
- Henrik Gahn (1747–1816), Physiker und Student von Linnés, welcher in Schweden 1803 als erstes Vaczin gegen die Pest einsetzte.
- Henrik Gahn (1820–1874), Chemiker und Industrieller, der das erste Antiseptikum erfand, welches in Schweden angewandt wurde.
