Mauro Eder (2020)

Éder Mauro Cardoso Barra (geboren am 14. Dezember 1960 in Belém, Pará), besser bekannt als Delegado Éder Mauro oder einfach Éder Mauro, ist ein Politiker und ehemaliger Polizeichef von Pará, Brasilien.

Seit Februar 2015 ist er Abgeordneter des brasilianischen Parlaments für den Bundesstaat Pará (55., 56. und 57. Legislaturperiode) für die PL[1].

Er war von 2013 bis 2022 Mitglied der PSD und trat 2022 zu der Liberalen Partei über.[2]

Nach seinem Jurastudium an der Universidade Federal do Pará trat er mit 22 Jahren in den Polizeidienst ein. Zuletzt war er Chef der Zivilpolizei des Bundesstaates Pará.

Er ist insbesondere für sein Engagement für eine Lockerung der Waffengesetze und für das Recht auf Waffenbesitz bekannt[3]. Im Jahr 2025 erhielt er den Titel des besten Abgeordneten des Staats Pará.[4]
