Biheko / Nyabingi - gleiche Frau?
Da ich gerade einen defekten Weblink ausgetauscht habe, hatte ich auch noch weiter nach den genannten Namen gesucht. In diesem Artikel steht "They believe in the powers of Nyabingi, alternatively known as Biheko, a woman who has figured significantly in the history of this specific area, and who now is revered for her considerable power", also wäre das demnach dieselbe Person? Und dann identisch mit en:Nyabinghi / Nyabyinshi? --Lupe (Diskussion) 00:37, 1. Apr. 2026 (CEST)
- Um die genau gleiche Frau scheint es nicht oder nicht allgemein zu gehen. Eher sind es regional teilweise abweichende Erzählungen unter verschiedenen Namen. Königin Nyabhingi als alte Frau, Biheko als Prinzessin. Dann finde ich biheko als ein Attribut einer Gottheit, übersetzt "jemand, der (uns auf dem Rücken) trägt" (S. 205). -- Bertramz (Diskussion) 10:45, 1. Apr. 2026 (CEST)
