Wing heißt in der realen Welt Ting Chen. Er wurde am 29. Januar 1968 in Shanghai geboren und wuchs in Harbin auf. Anschließend studierte er an der TU Braunschweig Elektrotechnik. Seit 2002 ist er mit seinem Freund zusammen und wohnt in Mainz. Dort arbeitet er in einer IBM-Niederlassung.
Für die Wikipedia in deutscher Sprache bietet Wing seine Hilfe als Botschafter für die Ausgabe in chinesischer Sprache an. Wenn ihr Anfragen, Apelle oder Sonstiges an diese Wikipedia-Gemeinschaft richten möchtet, schreibt ihm einfach auf seiner Diskussionsseite.
Wing arbeitet außerdem am Wikipedia-Projekt China mit.
