ich bin promovierter Publizistikwissenschaftler. Meine Forschungsschwerpunkte sind öffentliche Meinung, Online-Forschung (speziell Wikipedia-Forschung) und die Methoden der empirischen Kommunikationswissenschaft (insbesondere das sozialwissenschaftliche Experiment).

Ich bin in Darmstadt aufgewachsen, habe lange in Mainz gewohnt und lebe und arbeite seit 2015 in Dortmund im Ruhrgebiet.

Zu meinen außerberuflichen Interessengebieten gehören Notfallrettung/Erste Hilfe, Eisenbahnen (speziell die Triebfahrzeuge der Deutschen Bundesbahn zwischen 1968 und 1992) und Luftfahrt.
