Jörg Schwingeler geboren am ... in Köln ist gelernter Luftverkehrskaufmann. Mit Jörg Schwingeler übernimmt ein Luftfahrtprofi und erfahrener Manager wesentliche Führungsfunktionen von InterSky. Geboren in Köln, war schon sein Vater bei Lufthansa tätig. Naheliegend, dass Sohn Jörg bei Lufthansa zum Luftverkehrskaufmann ausgebildet wurde. 1996 schloss Schwingeler zusätzlich das Studium zum Diplom-Betriebswirt ab. Er war seit 1987 im Lufthansa-Streckenmanagement für Schweiz/Spanien/Portugal zuständig, ab 1990 dann für Österreich, Mittel- und Osteuropa. Dann folgten Karrierestationen als Controller, Projektleiter für Flugnetzplanung in der Kooperation Lufthansa / Lauda Air, Koordinator für Lufthansa City Line und Team Lufthansa. In dieser Zeit begegneten sich Renate Moser, Rolf Seewald und Jörg Schwingeler, um über den Team Lufthansa-Beitritt der Rheintalflug zu verhandeln.

Im Jahr 1998 wechselte Schwingeler schließlich von Lufthansa zu Augsburg Airways, wo er zum Vice President Finance and Controlling und zum stellvertretenden Geschäftsführer bestellt wurde und 2004 die Geschäftsführung gänzlich übernahm. Gemeinsam mit Lufthansa und anderen Partnerunternehmen wirkte er dort zuletzt am Aufbau der Lufthansa Regional - Gruppe mit.
