Back into the Sun (englisch für „zurück in die Sonne“) ist ein Lied des deutschen Sängers Mark Medlock, das im Juni 2026 erschien.

Entstehung und Veröffentlichung

Getextet, komponiert und produziert wurde Back into the Sun von Christian Geller.[1][2] Beim Schreibprozess erhielt Geller Unterstützung durch Christoph Assmann.[1]

Die Erstveröffentlichung von Back into the Sun erfolgte als Single am 12. Juni 2026 am Stars by Edel. Diese erschien als digitaler Einzeltrack zum Download und Streaming.[1]

Am Tag der Singleveröffentlichung wurde Back into the Sun im Programm von Radio Sylt präsentiert. In diesem Zuge führte Moderator Frank Bremser ein Interview mit Medlock und dessen Managerin Cornelia Reckert.[3] Um das Lied weiter zu bewerben, erfolgte unter anderem ein Liveauftritt zur Hauptsendezeit beim Schlagerbooom Open Air 2026 – Die Berge leuchten! am 27. Juni 2026.[4] Darüber hinaus spielte Medlock das Lied beim Inselfieber in Oberhausen.[5]

Inhalt und Stil

Das Lied wurde als sommerlich ausgerichteter Poptitel mit Latin- und Dance-Einflüssen beworben. Inhaltlich thematisiere es einen persönlichen Neuanfang sowie die Rückkehr zu einer positiveren Lebensphase.[6]
